Dr. Sharona
Dr. Sharona Shimunova is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. She graduated from Adelphi University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University with highest honors and continued her advanced education by receiving her speciality certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at Jacobi Medical Center.
Dr. Sharona is known for her warm, soothing approach when treating children. She has a unique motherly charm and deep compassion for her patients. As a mother of four, Dr.Sharona knows how to connect with children, get on their level, and make them feel comfortable and safe. Her goal as a pediatric dentist is having the opportunity to make a lasting difference in children’s lives through oral health and creating positive dental experiences with each visit.
When Dr.Sharona is not in the office treating children, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and baking, and traveling with her husband and children.

Dr. Emanuel Abayev
Dr. Emanuel Abayev is an orthodontist servicing the Queens area including Flushing, Kew Garden Hills, Forest Hills, Rego Park, Bayside, and Jamaica Estates. Dr Abayev graduated New York University College of Dentistry with high honors and was inducted into the prestigious national dental honor society Omega Kappa Upislon. Dr. Abayev then went to complete an intensive surgery focused general practice residency at Kings County Hospital. Dr Abayev knew he always wanted to be an orthodontist since he was 16 years old when starting his own orthodontic journey. The art of orthodontics always amazed him and after finishing his residency he went on to the prestigious University of Pennsylvania to complete his orthodontic training with some of the best orthodontists in the world. When he is not creating beautiful smiles Dr Abayev loves to spend time with his wife and 3 kids and enjoys traveling to sunny places.
